I'm very happy to report that in the end....I did get the job!! Woo hoo! The interview went brilliantly! I felt so comfortable and confident, I answered everything beautifully and they absolutely loved it!! So they offered me the position and I accepted! Which means now that I won't need to be interviewed again, as I am a permanent member of staff. So I feel a lot more relaxed about my life in the future. I am happy to be in London for another year (despite the weather) I have a lot of great opportunities here, good job, good friends, and a great boyfriend. So everything is all good!
Work has been going well, 2 of my particularly difficult students have been wonderful. A lot of people in school notice a major change in a lot of the students in my class this year. I think it's due to how positive I am with them. I notice that they are much happier, calmer and better behaved. It feels really good to see this sort of progress in these children!
Now I'm ready for a vacation!!!! Nick and I are going to Egypt in a few days and it's going to be so nice! We've been busy getting everything together and ready to go!
I've also booked my plane ticket home for summer break. We only get 6 weeks of summer break here, because we get loads more breaks in the year. So I'll be home the whole month of August! I'm SO looking forward to it!!!!!!
